Builder TREND Software

Buildertrend is a construction management system for home builders, remodelers, specialty contractors, and general contractors. This solution combines project scheduling, project management, financial management, customer management and service management in a single suite. As a cloud-based platform, this system can be accessed online with a computer or mobile device.

The Buildertrend app is also available for iOS and Android devices for construction project planning on the go. Buildertrend provides pre-sale tools including a built-in customer relationship management (CRM) system, bid requests, project proposals, plus more. Project management tools include scheduling, budgeting, timesheets, and more.

Customer management tools include change order and selection management, warranty requests, and payment processing. This system also integrates with other solutions such as QuickBooks, Xero, and various dedicated estimating and takeoff tools. Buildertrend provides each business with an account manager to provide training and support.

Project teams and construction professionals can also access customized branding, daily webinars, support chat, the Buildertrend Learning Community, a 24/7 help section, and Buildertrend University. Buildertrend pricing is on a monthly subscription basis. Customized pricing based on business needs is available. Click here for more information: Quantity Surveying Building Estimation

I used other CRMs in the past, but love using BuilderTrend. Its simple setup has allowed me to keep track of my customers as well as provide better follow up to my clients. I just utilize the Sales section of BuilderTrend, but it has improved my client relationships and increased my overall sales.

Buildertrend is great I love using the Activity Calendar and Lead Report to keep track of my follow up with my customers. I can use activity notes to remember what I discussed with customers when we last spoke, and this helps me engage in better dialogue when I follow up with customers.

Our installation team loves using the project management feature to keep track of our installs and provide an easy transition from sales to installation. The user interface is kind of clunky, especially on the app. Sometimes it is difficult to find stuff and the filters can get annoying.

I was not in charge of the switch, but we switched because BuilderTrend was a better value product and was better for us for integrating our sales CRM into our project management CRM. I've heard BuilderTrend costs less per month than Salesforce.
